A prestigious panel of global speakers, brands, vendors, press, influencers and sustainable enthusiasts met up at ReMode at the Los Angeles Convention Center in November 2018. They shared the importance of eco fashion with an exchange of knowledge and education. The relevant topic was at the forefront of conversations, many ideas emerged. Thought leaders were identified and recognized as change agents.
Open conversations helped to open minds and ideas. The basic formula was repeated from denim icons, apparel leaders, industry innovators, and startups. Simply put; fewer chemicals and carbons used in fabric washes can help make our air cleaner and there’s action and solutions we can infuse from design inception, to market, wear, recycle and beyond. Individuals and companies are looking for ways to take their business in to the future and #rethink ways of the past.
The good news is that standards in fashion are shifting. Design, cut, feel, distribution, marketing, and profitability need to make room for a new criteria called “sustainability.” The successful two-day event ended with meaningful experiences and new partnerships. #remake #remarket #rework #remode #mindconnect #ecofashion #inspire #jobjourney #talentsuede @suede_style
